The most important event to be noticed is that on November 17 2006 Dr. Vong Bunintreavuth, the chairman of GIAC had been awarded the “ASEAN INSURANCE YOUNG MANAGER AWARD” for the year 2006.
This very important event was overwhelmingly congratulated by all participants of insurance and reinsurance markets in the region who were presenting at the AIC conference in Bali, Indonesia.
The Award handing over, which the selecting process had gone through a tough interview made by 9 judges, and focusing on the general knowledge and the insurance management was a fair and transparent decision. The outcome was indeed coming from his hard efforts and smart working experience.
Last but not least, it is a great pride to Cambodian insurance industry as well as the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the nation as a whole.
